One of my FAVORITE destinations to experience is Turks and Caicos. Turks & Caicos is filled with world class resorts, spas, restaurants and the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. Just a quick non-stop flight from Newark Liberty Airport and/or John F. Kennedy International Airport makes it possible to travel to this special island if you want extended weekend escape or a week or two away to relax.

WHERE TO STAY?  The Palms and The Shore Club are my TOP PICKS! Both of these 5 star resorts are managed by the Hartling Group. Guests can “Stay and Play” at both resorts, easily with a complimentary shuttle, to give you the ability to enjoy the #1 Awarded Beach Beach in the World, Grace Bay, and the NEWEST upcoming BEST Beach, Long Bay!

The Palms

  • Located in the prime location of Grace Bay Beach.

  • Awarded Virtuoso BEST of the BEST Spa Worldwide.

  • TOP level service from employees fully trained with years of experience!  Butler service is a perk with top level suites. Also, available as an “add-on” to any room category.

  • You will find guests enjoying the pool at The Palms from sunrise to sunset.  Beautifully designed including a swim up bar!

The Shore Club

  • The NEWEST resort in Turks and Caicos!

  • Located on Long Bay which is extremely private as this is the ONLY resort in this location!

  • AMAZING interior design and spacious room layouts!

  • 4 pools including a lap pool at the fitness center.

  • Excellent snorkeling, dolphin and sea turtle sightings, time to experience an undeveloped island home to iguanas, and enjoy freshly prepared conch salad

Dine Around the Island: We LOVE the restaurants at The Palms and The Shore Club but I highly recommend also leaving the resorts and experiencing the local restaurants.  A few of my favorites include…

  • Coco Bistro: Set admist the largest palm grove in Turks and Caicos. MUST reserve at least 2 months prior to your travel dates!

  • Da Conch Shack: Casual feet in the sand and picnic table type of dining experience! Great spot for lunch or dinner! Best beach party and live music takes place here every Wednesday

  • Fish Fry: The Tourism Board hosts a local Fish Fry in Children’s Park on Thursday evenings.  Along with a band, it’s fun to go to each stand to sample true local food. After the Fish Fry, I enjoy going to Danny Bouys for some late night karaoke.

  • Somewhere Café: Beachfront, open air dining. Tex Mex inspired menu. Live Music Wednesday, Friday and Sunday!
